What is WoW PvP?
Player vs Player (PvP) in World of Warcraft means fighting real players — not scripted bosses or AI. Every opponent adapts, counters, and fights back. The unpredictability and skill ceiling make PvP the rawest way to play the game.
WoW PvP takes several forms: Battlegrounds pit factions against each other over objectives, War Mode turns the entire open world into contested territory, and Arenas offer close-quarters 2v2 or 3v3 combat. Each rewards a different kind of player.
